Which operating systems does InterviewOra support?

macOS 12 and later (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10 and 11. The same desktop app works across both.

Is the download free?

Yes. The app is free to download and install. You start with a free trial interview, then choose a plan when you're ready.

Do interviewers see InterviewOra running?

No. The overlay isn't a window, browser tab or screen-share source. Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, HackerRank and proctoring tools cannot see it.

Does it record or store my interview audio?

No. Audio is processed in-memory and never stored. Live transcripts auto-delete within 24 hours and traffic is end-to-end encrypted in transit.

How long does installation take?

About two minutes. Download, drag to Applications (Mac) or run the installer (Windows), sign in, you're ready.

Will it slow my computer down during an interview?

No. The app is lightweight and idles in the background until you start an interview session.

Do I need a microphone permission?

Yes, system audio access is required so the AI can hear the interviewer. We never use the mic to record you.

Can I use it on more than one computer?
